Joseph Tomaselli
Meteorologist

Joseph Tomaselli, a native of North Carolina, earned a B.S. in Meterorology at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC in 1998. Interested in the weather from a young age, Joseph became more involved in the meteorological field after southern North Carolina suffered major tornado damage in areas, especially notable near his home in Laurinburg, NC. “The major damage that I observed increased my desire to know how and why severe weather events like that could occur,” Joseph says. After college, Joseph spent six months working for the Weather Research Center in Houston, TX before joining the Wilkens Weather team in September 2000. As a WWT meteorologist, Joseph and his peers are responsible for domestic and international weather forecasting for oil-industry clients and budgeting equal amounts of dedicated, specialized research for each client. “I really enjoy working in a modern, professional environment where I get to interact with meteorologists from all over the nation,” he states. “I am very excited about growing as a professional meteorologist with Wilkens Weather!”
