Jim Rouse

became fascinated with the world of weather
growing up in Kansas,
a state known for dramatic thunderstorms,
lighting and tornadoes. Enthralled with this
science, he majored in meteorology, earning a
bachelors of science degree from the University of
Oklahoma. Jim spent his first two years at a
private forecasting company in Oklahoma
forecasting and performing doppler radar
research. In 1985, he joined Air Routing as a
weather forecaster and flight planner. With the
companys growth over the years, Jim moved
to sales, marketing and customer service while
completing his MBA at the University
of Houston. His developing business skills
and weather background made him an ideal
spokesman to promote and provide client support
for AiRMET, the on-line weather information
system. Jims acumen in technical support
combined with his people skills led him to ARGIS
International in 1996 where his role is to
provide client and in-house training and
technical support for all ARGIS products.
